Preface
The present book is a written account of various discussions among a group of professors and intellectuals over the last several years. In these meetings, numerous key ideological issues were discussed and the content of each session was recorded. Then, all were written as accurately as possible and in compliance with integrity. Where it was necessary, more documentation was added; and after editing and revising, some were printed with the title of “The Necessity of Divine Authority”.
I should thank my dear friend, Mr. Mojtaba Javdani who assisted me during the writing of this book. Also, I hope other volumes could be published in the near future.
It seems to be necessary to mention some points for the readers:
A) The professors and academic people who attended this meeting included:

B) Some participants wished to remain anonymous, therefore, their actual names were replaced by “a member of the audience”.
C) The original statement of Quranic verses, hadiths and quotations have also been mentioned for further compliance and avoiding paraphrased quotes, although this has increased the number of footnotes.
